  • College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences – Consisting of 10 schools, including the Business School, School of Law and Politics, and School of Journalism, Media, and Culture. The Business School holds dual accreditation (AACSB, AMBA) and has recently partnered with local charities to offer social enterprise summer internships [3] for undergraduate students. This service may also involve collaboration with other disciplines, such as medicine and psychology.
  • College of Biomedical and Life Sciences – Comprising seven schools, including the School of Dentistry, School of Medicine, School of Biosciences, and School of Psychology. The college excels in research, boasting top-tier facilities. Psychology ranks within the global top 100, utilizing advanced equipment for diverse research projects. Students may also apply to use these facilities for their studies. Dentistry is ranked among the top 5 in the UK and top 35 globally.

The college integrates the strengths of each discipline to address global challenges and improve lives through research. Strong industry connections ensure students receive firsthand insights. Additionally, students benefit from sandwich courses (a year of paid work placement), with a high conversion rate to full-time employment after graduation.
